Rum Arecha is more than a spirit — it is a tribute to the fearless souls who defied empires, conquered the seas, and forged their destinies beyond the boundaries of ordinary men.
Crafted in the Dominican Republic with the soul and artistry of traditional Cuban rum-making, Arecha embodies the untamed spirit of the Caribbean. It draws inspiration from the rogues, horsemen, sailors, and pirates who once ruled the coasts and hidden ports of the islands, living by courage, instinct, and freedom.
Every bottle of Arecha is born from carefully selected sugarcane, slow natural fermentation, and meticulous aging in bourbon, wine, port, and cognac casks. Time and oak shape the rum into something profound — layered with notes of caramel, vanilla, dark fruits, warm spice, toasted wood, and the lingering elegance that only patience can create.

Meet Our Master Blender
At the heart of Ocean Cask Spirits is Cuban Maestra Ronera Marialis Tabares, whose passion for traditional rum-making preserves the authentic art of heavy Caribbean rum.
Using ancestral mother fermentations and time-honored Cuban techniques, she crafts rums with deep aroma, rich body, and remarkable complexity. Every barrel reflects the spirit of the Caribbean Sea, the heritage of Cuba, and the artistry of true rum craftsmanship.
ARECHA AÑEJOS

Our añejo rums are matured in carefully selected bourbon barrels and further refined in a variety of specialty casks, including wine, port, and cognac barrels, developing a rich and complex flavor profile throughout the aging process. The interaction btween the rum and the different woods creates a refined and sophisticated spirit with remarkable depth, character, and balance.
Appearance:
Deep amber to mahogany in color, our aged rums reflect their extended maturation and multi-cask aging process. When swirled in the glass, they reveal slow, elegant legs that showcase the richness and body of a well-aged spirit.
Aroma:
On the nose, layers of vanilla, caramel, toasted oak, and warm spice emerge from the bourbon barrel influence, while the wine, port, and cognac casks contribute delicate notes of red fruits, dried figs, raisins, dark cherries, cocoa, and subtle floral undertones. These aromas beautifully complement the natural sugarcane and molasses character of the rum, creating a complex and elegant sensory experience.​
